*REVIEW* JG Chavonne and Espari Marnie

I decided to invest in a Marnie doll and discovered that she is very different from Chavonne my JG doll.  

 

I did not want to buy Marnie at first because I thought she looked too much like Chavonne, but once I styled Marnie's hair and looked at the slope in her nose and the dot or cleft in her chin I knew she was a keeper. 

 

 Marnie comes in the outfit featured...pink headband, dress, black bow belt and cream sweater. Her dress on one side is a striped pink and cream, on the reverse side it's pink. I changed her shoes, not a fan of the shoes, but basic black is okay. 

 

I put Chavonne in the Espari red dress and socks. The dress is reversible, plaid on the other side. Both dolls are darling.

Barnes and Nobles now has their own line of 18" dolls which is expanding with furniture and new outfits.

The cafe is very busy today and Dabbie stops in.

*Review* Espari Pretty Plaid Fashion

I recently purchased the Espari Pretty Plaid fashion pack from Barnes and Noble, I absolutely love this set and think it looks adorable on basically any doll. 

It fits best on slim-bodied dolls like Journey Girls and

Disney Princess and Me. 

 

I think it would also work well for Carpatina slim dolls. The dress can't close in the back for most regular 18 inch dolls, but several of the pieces can be shared across doll lines. Overall I think it's a wonderful value with great play potential.
