*REVIEW* American Girl Easter Doll Apron

Our official, limited-edition American Girl™ apron and oven mitt set ensures your child's favorite helper will be just as dolled up for springtime baking as she is. Designed to perfectly match your child's own kid-size version, the doll-size set—tailored from mid-weight cotton twill in a pretty robin's egg blue and pink polka-dot print with an embroidered rabbit and ruffles—offers a sweet finishing touch for creative cooking and baking.

  • Perfectly matches our exclusive Adult and Child sets.
  • Tailored from 100% cotton.
  • Velcro® tab at the neck for easy adjustment of fit.
  • Quilted mitt.
  • Machine-wash.

I was looking at my new Easter apron and believe I found a way to press out the holes. Holes were left in the apron after I uses a nail clipper to cut the tags.

I turned the apron on the reverse side of the hole and use my pointer finger and thumb to move small amounts of fabric on both sides of the small hole. I kept using my fingers to pinch the threading on both side of the hole together towards the tiny hole...fussing and meshing it together. The hole began to get smaller and smaller with each press of my fingers on the thread...surrounding fabric.

End result no holes in my beautiful Easter apron.

*TOUR* Grace Thomas' Room

Grace's Le Patisserie is a DIY project. Her round table, bakery cart and apron are AG.

The mixer and 3-tier cake are both ornaments.

Some of the food is DIY, others are erasers.

The shelf on the wall is a thrifty find as are the utensils.

Grace is an AG doll. The hand mitt is a gift from KKollect.

The door is poster board with a craft foam sheet menu board.

I've yet to "install" a sink/fridge combo unit in the left corner.
The entire space is 30" wide by 22" in depth.

*REVIEW* OG Accessories - Owie Fix It Kit, Puppy Love Grooming Set & Bake Me Cupcakes

A New OG item,  Little Owie Fix It Kit, $6.99.  This little first aid kit is cute, but could be made easily as a DIY.

I love this Puppy Love Grooming Set from OG.  It comes with a bucket, empty box of dog treats, a shampoo bottle, one grooming mitten, a pair of scissors, a clipper and a hair dryer that actually makes a sound like a real hair dryer.  Your doll can really hold the hair dryer with the attached strap.

The other OG item Bake Me Cupcakes, comes with a blank paged cook book, four count cupcake tray with four cupcakes, one mixing bowl, one icing bag, one measuring spoon set and one whisk.  Each set is priced $6.99.

DIY Bakery - Creating a Place for Grace

I've had to make changes in my doll room (again) to fit everyone in. Grace had a space in the old room, but all of my dolls had to move into one 12' x 12' spare room.

I found these ornaments at Michael's 50% off.

I do no have room for large items and do not own Grace's bakery. I decided to make a simple (small) bakery for her using what I had. This is the 30" wide x 22" deep space I had to work with. Not much, but at least there was a place for my Grace!!!

I began covering the walls, then making bakery doors for the facade on each side.

It's a DIY bakery.

Grace will need an oven and more display space.

There is still shelving and a cabinet that needs to go inside, but there was not much room to display the dolliday items. I opted to leave them out for the season. Once spring arrives, the bakery can add more shelving.

*REVIEW* AG's Sugar and Spice Baking Set

Dollidays-a look at AG's Sugar and Spice baking set $58 (without the apron and hat).

Dolls can enjoy a holiday tradition—a gingerbread house! She’ll have everything she needs with this festive set, including:
  • A faux gingerbread home, ready for “decorating,” and a cake plate to display it on
  • A variety of pretend candies to use as decoration: a bowl of glittery gumdrops, three jars of colorful sprinkles, a candy plate laden with tiny chocolates, and a box of striped candy canes
  • A pastry bag filled with frosting, ready to add the trim!
  • A matching apron and hat, each with touches of faux fur and stretch velvet for a fancy accent

A fun little baking set.

The tray turns. Icing bag included.

Sparkly side view of house.

I used a Christmas towel for my tablecloth.
