DIY Grace's Pastry Cart and Bakery Scene

WOW!
Eileen over at PlanetAG4U made Grace's Pastry Cart!

"I used Cool Whip tops and added the image. If I did it over again I would use wood."

"Obviously this is not for doll play. I made it because I love the pastry cart and will just use it as a prop for the doll house."

Speaking of doll house, Eileen's DIY French scene is beautiful.

"The chairs I have had for a couple of years with no sew seat cushions, except for the button. The Bistro table base, menu sign and glass tower holding the menu are all from Hobby Lobby. The table base is 8-1/2" H x 5-1/2" diameter, it's a candle holder from Hobby Lobby."

"Overview - Scrapbook paper on walls and mural is a pieced print out of an image. The dog is from the My Life As...Raincoat set."

"The red lanterns are from Ikea (just a lucky find on clearance) and the "amour" pillow is from Hobby Lobby."

This is just wonderful!! You can see Eileen's pastry cart video for more DIY details!

    1. The floors are just print outs that I searched for stone walkway, etc. The grass is scrapbook paper. Thanks!

  3. I bought those lanterns (marketed as Christmas ornaments) in gold! I thought they were very Mediterranean. I love the way the red ones work here!
