Julie & Ivy Go Swimming + Pool Tutorial

The weather has been heating up!
The girls put on bathing suits and head for the pool!

I made a small tote from a larger tote that I found at the Dollar Tree.

Ivy wears a Springfield tankini and I found both of the girls pool towels at the Dollar Tree.

Neon pool float is from Dollar Tree - they come in several colors.

Ivy enjoys wearing her Journey Girls sunglasses!

 ***************

How did we do this???

You can make this a water filled pool by using a clear blue shower liner.

For our pool I used both blue reflective wrapping paper under....

...blue cellophane gift wrap - both from Dollar Tree.

  3. Made a trip to Dollar Tree and got two towels and two floats, but couldn't find the cellophane. Oh, got two bags also and will try to make the doll sized totes out of them. I love the tankini. Our Joanns stopped carrying the Springfield collection. I'll try Michael's. Love your posts!

  7. are the floats just the regular adult sized ones you can buy? seems pretty big compared to this picture with the actual doll on it. any suggestions or comments would be appreciated.

  8. The floats are kickboard size for kids or adults. They fit the dolls as a full sized float. They measure about 19 1/2 inches long.
