American Girl to reopen temporary store at Crabtree Valley Mall

Crabtree Valley Mall has big news for American Girl fans: A temporary store will reopen in July at the Raleigh mall and remain open through Jan. 28.

This will be the second pop-up American Girl store at Crabtree. The first one was open for the 2016 holiday season - from October to late January. This time, the shop will be open even longer.

*NEWS* AG Pop Up Store - Michigan

American Girl to re-open temporary Michigan store.

NOVI -- American Girl is returning to Twelve Oaks Mall this summer.

No opening date was revealed, but the company will open a temporary retail shop in the Novi mall through early 2018.

*NEWS* AG Pop Up Store - Raleigh, NC

American Girl is bringing its pop-up store back to Raleigh.

After better-than-expected sales last year, American Girl is returning to Crabtree Valley Mall in July with a pop-up store. 


The temporary store will be open through January 2018 – three months longer than its stay last year – in a 5,500-square-foot space near Sears. The mall plans to announce an opening date in the next few weeks. 


“It exceeded all of the expectations last year,” said Brian Asbill, marketing director for the mall. “It’s been a wonderful benefit to us. Hardly a day goes by without people asking if American Girl will be back.”

The store had a section for Grace the Girl of The Year.

They had plenty of Grace dolls, books, and her movie.

You can even get Grace's Bistro Set!! We didn't see Grace's Bakery cart, but you can still order it from American girls.

They had a Truly Me section, where you could pick a doll.

You can get a pet.

They had the purchase with a purchase offer.

The store even had the beautiful Frosted Violet Gown.

The store had some awesome scenes for Truly Me set up. We didn't get all of them, but we managed to get most of the little scenes.

American Girl store collection set for $50.00, and they also had the salon set.

The store had an American Girl Orange County shirt for dolls.

This store had a doll hair salon and ear piercing for dolls. They don't have as many hairstyles choices as the other American Girl retail stores but they do have some cute ones.

The store had a section for Bitty Baby, no Bitty Twins.

They were also giving away Beforever Julie classic books. We just wanted to share with you about our experience at this store. We were greeted and assisted when we arrived in the store which always is a plus. The employees were very knowledgeable, and told us about all the special promotions going on.  This Pop Up Store had a better selection than we anticipated and we were very pleased with it.  We do hope this store does stay in the Orange County area after the Christmas season is over.  -DollyDaisy from Am I Cute or What?
