REVIEW Truly Me Tees Felt Fashion Book

I bought the Truly Me doll Tees Felt Fashion book when it was on sale for $14. Originally, I bought the kit because two American Girl shirts for $14 was a good buy as it made the shirts $7 each if you don't factor in the book and stencils.

The book has some cute ideas for decorating a tee shirt.

The pink and purple shirt are enclosed in plastic with the stencil.

Logo sewn on left shoulder.

The patterns are labeled and printed on card stock. No felt included, but I recommend this set.

REVIEW OG Reach New Heights

Target has a lot of new items for doll play. I bought two,
Reach New Heights (rock climbing gear) $17.99

Roll With Me (inline skating outfit) $12.99.

Reach New Heights consists of 1 shirt,1 pair of pants, 1 helmet, 1 climbing harness, 1 clothes hanger and 1 pair of shoes. The shirt is made of stretch material (like a swim shirt) and closes in the back with elastic over a button. The shoes are very hard to get on the doll. I used my trick of using the thin handle of a spoon as a shoe horn.

Once they were on the doll (Julie), they fit nicely. The harness is so cute, however, I think I could replicate it using a dog harness, leash or collar from the dollar store.

This is a real cute set and I believe there will be rock climbing scenes in my dolls future!

REVIEW Costco American Girl Horse

The American Girl horse sold at Costco looks like the body of the Palomino Horse sold at American Girl for $75. This is a good set for the price.

Chestnut Horse (Costco) compared to Palomino Horse. The fabric/fur is soft. The box calls it velvety. It is softer than the Palomino and the Prancing Horse.

The bridle is plastic, the rein is webbing.

The apple is very similar to the apples from Caroline’s basket. The carrots look like the carrots for Julie’s pet rabbit. The brush has real bristles. The saddle is all plastic, the the stirrups seem to be metal.
