*Review* Maryellen PJs and Hair Rollers

ME (short for Maryellen) is wearing her favorite PJs and they were mine too at her age.

Look at all the details.

ME hair set comes with bag, roller, instructions and hair cap.

Maryellen's dog is Ska-doodle which is from the company Douglas, not AG.  I have had him for awhile and found him to be adorable.

    2. Hi Rhonda, the soft rubber curlers also known as Spoolie Curlers came out in 1949, and were popular in the early 1950's. Here is the link: http://vintagecollectorguy.tumblr.com/post/113359596476/spoolies-rubber-hair-curlers-1949-voit-nose I too am a child of the late fifties (57), but in early 1960s these were no longer used, mainly due to hair style changes. In the early 1950's they still were doing the 1940 hair styles and women slept in the curlers making Spoolie curlers very popular. Love to research history.....Diana

  2. I know that company that made the dachshund and their stuffed animals are so plush. Love ME pjs, they are so adorable and love the pattern and the details of dotted embellishment in the material, a seamstress would know this term better than I would. Very cute outfit.

  4. I am a child of the 50s and I had those curlers except mine were pink. My mother kept so many of my childhood things but so far I haven't found the curlers. I do think I have my autograph hound somewhere packed away. When it gets cooler I'm going to try to find it. But right now the crawl space is too hot. I found other curlers that were popular at that time and I use them to set my dolls hair.
