*ROOM TOUR* Historical Dolls (Part 2)

This is the larger room. It has two sections of three levels. Not much has changed on the left side where Kit, Molly and Julie's areas are. What changed the most was moving the modern dolls out.

Samantha and Nellie occupy the top level.

Their clothing is stored in the doll room closet.

I have the ice cream parlor set up next door.

Kirsten's area is on the second floor. Her clothing storage is in the center tower.

The ground floor is now occupied by Caroline and Maricella.

I don't have much from Caroline's collection. What I do have, I made and am using the table and chair from the Springfield set.

What I was able to do by moving the modern dolls into the other room, was clear enough space for more historical dolls (at least three).

  1. I love your house! Where did you get the house itself?

    1. Thanks, the levels are made from on old tossed entertainment center that I used the shelves out of, then added Sterilite containers as supports. So far so good - it's holding.

    2. That's a great idea! It's nice when you can repurpose something, plus it sounds like it would be a lot easier to move than a shelving unit. So many cute things in it too.

    2. Oh, ok. That is so cool, I love it! Is it in your doll room, or just in another part of your house? Maybe you could post a pic?

    4. Awesome! I wish I had as much room as you to make rooms for each individual doll. I just have a 2'by3' space at a bottom of a closet for my 3 dolls and their stuff. If my collection grows anymore, I'll have to find a larger space for them.
