How to Make - Camping Binoculars

 

Super easy!!

 
Supplies:

• 2 toilet paper tubes
• Drinking Straw
• Card stock or foam sheet
• Hot glue
• Scissors
• Paint
• Yarn or cording

Start by trimming the length of the tubes and cut 1" off of both. 

Cut each tube open down the sides, roll to adjust the circumference needed for your doll's eyes. Glue closed. Paint each tube black.

Cut the straw 1-inch shorter than your tubes, making two pieces. Glue the straws to the side of each toilet paper tube, then glue the straws together. Paint the straws. 

Add clear plastic from a doll's box for lenses by tracing around the toilet paper tubes, cut out two circles then glue each lens onto each tube.

Mod Podge the binoculars.

Cut a piece of foam sheet or card stock 1.5-inch wide. With hot glue, wrap the foam sheet all the way around both tubes, gluing it shut on the under side.

Trim the lenses out with a piece of foam sheet.

Glue yarn or cording to the bottom of the tubes making sure to pre-measure the length around your doll's neck first for a correct fit.
