*DOLL PARTY SERIES* HTM 70s Party - JULIE & IVY

Let's start at the beginning ---

DECOR

 You can decorate the walls with yellow smiley faces made from construction paper or poster board, hang movie posters from the 70s like Star Wars and Saturday Night Fever.  

 Serve root beer floats and shrimp-and-pineapple skewers on melamine plates. Use daisies on the cake; fill a small wicker basket with daisies for a centerpiece. Get tablecloths in fun colors like orange, avocado green and yellow with touches of purple. Hang beaded curtains, and throw a shag rug on the ground if you have one. For a hippy party, get some bean bag chairs.

OPERATION

BOB FOR APPLES
Fill a plastic tub or large cooler with warm water. Fill the water with several small sized apples. Blindfold the player and see if they can grab an apple with their teeth while submerging their face in water. *Be sure to do this outdoors or in a water proof area. Provide a slicker or poncho made from a large garbage bag for players to wear to protect their clothes.

Guest can make beaded jewelery, or paint Terra cota pots with smiley faces, peace signs or rainbows for their ferns to live in.
 Maybe have a spin art craft and tie dye shirts.
