*In Store Report* AGP DC Tyson’s Corner

Chrissa and her friends, Briar and Melody Q, went to the Washington, DC American Girl Store recently to see what’s new in stores.

First they met Blaire Wilson, the 2019 Girl of the Year. Blaire took them for a quick tour of the kitchen in her family’s farm restaurant.

Blaire took a selfie with Chrissa – 10 years between them GOTY to GOTY!

GOTY 2018 Luciana Vega was happy to show everyone around the Mars Habitat and pose for a picture!

Chrissa checked in with Kit to see what was new in the Garden Stand. Mm…strawberries.

Maryellen Larkin and Scooter were on hand to greet Chrissa in their Airstream.

Chrissa heard Melody Ellison over in the Recording Studio.

Melody invited Chrissa in to sing some backup vocals!

Nanea Mitchell had wonderful shave ice ready after all the singing.

Chrissa had a nice visit with Julie Albright next. Julie took an instant photo for Chrissa to take home with her.

Chrissa made sure she got a picture of the doll highest on Nonna’s wish list right now.

The Wellies were practicing a play, but they stopped and said hello.

No time for a spa day today. Maybe next time!

The Create Your Own Display

Chrissa bought a souvenir DC t-shirt featuring Coconut! The model was very nice.

Melody and Chrissa both really liked the other souvenir shirt but it was only sold in a set with a child’s shirt. The clerk explained that these shirts were unique and made in the NYC store just for the DC store on the custom t-shirt maker.

These ladies were nice and chatty at checkout. Chrissa asked to take their picture because they were so friendly.

The Grand Hotel was right next to the checkout.

No lines! No waiting!

Chrissa visited the American Girl store in DC as part of a Birthday Meetup event with Nonna. Chrissa was the 2009 GOTY. Briar is a JLY 61 (2014). Melody Q from Tea Time with Melody Q is a AGOT 12 (2000).
