*REVIEW* Josefina's World Book

I was looking over Josefina and came across her book. This book has everything that we loved about Pleasant Company. The historical references are amazing and the bibliography or cite page offers readers so much information for research.

There is even a section that shows the doll they may have used for the Nina doll replica.  Such a great source if you missed out on the older books with the illustrations.

  2. These books were great. I wish American Girl would bring these type of books back. Children can learn so much from them in a fun way.

  3. I used to get these books from the library all the the time! (I think I have Samantha's unopened book somewhere.) The doll they showed in Felicity's book scarred me for life: they kept their dolls in coffins. Maureen

  4. I feel the same way as you all do. It would be nice to see more of these books. Especially since the new character books omitted illustrations or historical pictures from that era. It's the little details that make all the difference.

  5. Beautiful books, the kind you can just browse through and learn something! I have found several on line as "used books" but in new condition.
