Spa and Salon Set
Sleepover Set (which was out last year, but our Costco didn’t get this set.)
The costume accessories look like the ones from the Dress-Up Trunk available from American Girl. It looks like there are 2 separate packages, one with the doll and another with the trunk and costume. See American Girl online for better picture of the costume items. Each trunk is a different color.
Also they had Wellie Wisher Doll and Costume Sets. This is a 7 piece set includes Doll, trunk and costume accessory. There
are only 3 dolls (Camille, Ashlyn and Willa).
Looking at the picture, Ashlyn’s costume is the butterfly wings, rainbow
colored tulle skirt, butterfly head band, and flower wand wand
entwined with ribbon . Looking at the picture, Camille’s costume is the rainbow colored tulle skirt, shell crown, shell, and shimmery seaweed skirt.

at the picture, Willa’s costume is rainbow colored tulle skirt, felt
owl mask, bright owl wings, and looks like the rose scepter.

This would sell better at 60.00. We have all 5 Wellie Wishers already, but could give 1 or 2 away to get the Doll new with a extra outfit
ReplyDeleteThis package set is cute. The outfits are part of the Dress Up set from the Wellie Wisher collection, which retails for $48. It comes with a body suit and all the outfits and accessories in these sets, plus more. At this price, you are paying $15 for the outfit, buy two dolls that is $30, and 3 would be $45. If you already have the dolls, then you may want to consider just buying the Dress Up set. Plus the Dress up set from AG has a body suit, which none of these sets has. I think AG made mistake by not putting the body suit in the package. Like you pointed out, the price is no real savings, considering Caroline and Samantha's set was $99 and had the doll and outfit. Just my 2 cents. The girls like to give dolls to Toys 4 Tots, so this might be a good selection for this year. I'm hoping that all 5 will eventually be at the store.
ReplyDeleteRenee, could you tell if the trunks in these WW sets were plastic or cardboard? The $48 dress up costume set from AG comes with a cardboard box.
ReplyDeleteI didn't take notice if the trunks were plastic or cardboard. However, they look just like the one for the Dress Up set, same wood design and darker or lighter color trim with metallic colored dots. I'm guessing it is not plastic, but paperboard like the one in the Dress Up set sold through AG.
