*TAMMY"S TRAVELS* Day 8 - Bruges

Tammy looks out over the Lake of Love ❤.

40 swans live in Bruges.

A horse drawn carriage is a relaxing way to see the city.

Bruges has many chocolate shops and Tammy and her friends enjoyed a chocolate-tasting walking tour.

The Church of Our Lady is the home of the Bruges Madonna which is believed to be Michelangelo's only sculpture to have left Italy in his lifetime.

  4. I'm loving these photos of Tammy in Europe. It's fun seeing places I've visited before, like Amsterdam and Keukenhof, along with the beautiful photos of the other locations I haven't been to. My son was in Bruges a couple of years ago and brought me home some fantastic chocolates.

  5. These are great! Tammy, how lucky you are to go on a chocolate tour. Yum! The statue of the Madonna is beautiful, and interesting to learn about. I saw the Pieta in the Vatican in 2000. This is such a different point in Mary and Jesus' lives; it must have been so difficult to sculpt both. I wonder which Michelangelo sculpted first.
