*In Store Report* OG Aisle - Target

Saw quite a few new Our Generation outfits and accessories at Target that I had never seen before.

I loved loved loved the shoes in the Night at the Movies outfit.

I was very tempted to purchase the Fashion Wave outfit to get the boogie board for our WellieWishers, since we let them go in the water.

The Paid to Meet You accessory included a red laptop, a laptop bag with a black Scottie dog, and a red pen. This set came home with us. Eldest daughter has been asking for a laptop for ages!

  1. Oh, wow. I think someone found an old box of accessories in the stock room! The laptop is a 2013 release (http://dollation.com/dollipedia/product/500913). Be Specked (the glasses set) is a 2014 release (http://dollation.com/dollipedia/product/496775) as is Heart and Sole (the socks set, http://dollation.com/dollipedia/product/496774)

The clothing sets are new though.

  4. It takes months for new accessories and outfits to show up in Washington. We still have the same old hippy style tote bag and glasses sets that have been around for well over a year, and that's the majority of what gets stocked. The retro accessories I saw twice--bought the domino set but returned it, and fortunately the typewriter showed up because I really wanted that. They've been doing better on the shoes, but really--it took almost a year to get the larger pets and it was an actual year for the ice cream truck to be in stock on shelves. The canopy bed is rarely in stock, so while I wish I could've waited for a sale, I used a gift card on it instead of the wardrobe, even though I have no place for the canopy bed right now. I'm surprised the laptop came back around--thought it was gone for good. I passed it up and regretted it, but I've since bought a replica MacBook that looks like mine. It seems like either the science accessories and dolls are popular and my local Targets can't keep them in stock, or they're not being stocked. I wish I would've bought that deluxe retro music accessory set that I saw only one time now. Maybe it'll pop up again.

  5. I have the Plaid to Meet you set. It would go well with Mary Ellen. In the 50's, I carried a similar one to school and the laptop is great for the modern dolls.
