DIY WellieWishers Play House

These scrapbook papers are from Hobby Lobby.

Locate a good tall sturdy box.

Begin papering your walls.

The garden bench I have is blue, but the WW bench is pink. I bought pink paint to change it out.

Aqua foam sheets make a great window base to build upon.

In an effort to maintain the integrity of the box, the door was omitted. You may choose to add a pretend door make from foam sheets, wood scrapbook paper or contact paper.

Add fabric curtains onto your windows. I wrapped fabric around wood lathing strips.

After adding the "tree" I realized it was not tall enough. Be sure to extend your felt tree to the top.

Colorful, even the Disney gals wanted to see the house.

LADL tries to bring tutorials for ALL ages and skill levels. The AG WellieWisher play house is $250, younger collectors may not be able to add this to their collection. LADL attempts to offer ideas on a shoe string budget, often made with items found around the house.

If you're an experienced crafter, you may opt to make this house out of foam core or plywood sheets and paint. Good luck and have fun!

*LADL donated this house after completion.

  4. Anna looks a lot smaller than the other two, is that because she's meant to represent Anna as a child and the other two represent their characters as adults?
