I remember being in my bedroom putting my new 45 record on my portable record player and playing,"I Want to Hold Your Hand", over and over, while writing down the words to the song. By the time I wrote all the words down, I had memorized the song. I was happily surprised when I turned the record over and found,"I saw Her Standing There"! Once again,I played it over and over, writing down the words until I knew the whole song! Good times!
