*REVIEW* 18" Doll Rescue & Makeover (Video)

I found this little girl in decent used condition. She wears a black flower print dress and bloomers. She is suppose to also have a white pinafore and headband.

She has sleep eyes, line brows, soft lashes and an open mouth expression (no teeth).

Her hands are like AG.

Her body tag says TCA GROUP 1990

Her feet look like AG.

Neck markings.
TCA Made in China

Her wig is dry and difficult to tame.

She is smaller than PC, AG and OG dolls. She makes a perfect sister for Kirsten because she has a Swedish look about her with platinum blond hair and light sparkling blue eyes.

  6. Rhonda, how did you know that this doll came with a white pinafore? Are there any pictures of the doll online or through an old catalog? I am curious about this doll and others like her.

    1. I searched for her on google and there was a photo of her in pristine condition in her complete meet outfit. There was also a redhead in a red dress sold during the same time.

  8. Great job on the restoration! Does anyone know what TCA is? I've never heard of it, and it's interesting how she has (very similar, if not the same) hands, feet and eyes as an AG doll.

    1. From what I could find, TCA Group out of Mass., sold "look-a-like" dolls to Sears Catalog in the early 90s. They also made other dolls similar to Ginny and Barbie.
