    Hi Nonna, I actually thought the same thing when I first saw them, but when I got them in my hands they are actually pretty cool. They are made of swimsuit material so they are stretchy and go on nicely. The colors are meant to show a multi-layer style like what bike riders use. So it would be leggings then shorts. A Funky look for sure! Diana
