  2. She is such a cutie...I can't wait to see everyone's photos and reviews about her. I can't decide if I will get her or not..I've had my eye on TM #35 for so long that I may just get her and pretend she's Mary Ellen and get all of Mary Ellen's other stuff. :)

    1. Are Maryellen's eyes brown? Do you think she looks too similar to TM number 33? Congrats on getting her early!

  5. I have never before bought any of the "big" historical character items, not even a bed. But this diner is so neat. I think I'm going to have to plan on it!

  6. I was excited to see that backdrop too. Definitely will get the fireplace one shown above. Agree with Diana: they are terrific for scenes or photo shoots.

  7. LOVE the pedal pusher outfit! And I do hope they call them pedal pushers! In the 50s capri pants went to the ankle - Laura Petri wore them on the Dick van Dyke show!

Also love the school dress and the poodle skirt. Might just be getting outfits from this collection. Looking forward to seeing more photos and reviews.

  8. We grew up calling them pedal pushers too; and that was the 60's.

    1. Even when they became vogue again in the 80s (my time to wear them) they were pedal pushers (though mom called them clam diggers); I was rather annoyed in the 00s when they became "capris." Didn't the designers study their history? I'm sure it was a marketing department idea. :)
