I wanted to share some things from my Toys R Us today. Actually went there with my kids to
pick something up for my son then we saw that they had just gotten a
fresh shipment of Journey Girl things. We were really excited to see
it all.
They had the new holiday doll Italia in the store
already! She's beautiful and has a beautiful maroon dress. She comes
with the masquerade mask and a little fur poncho. She has blonde hair
and blue eyes. My daughter absolutely fell in love with her.
There were a ton of fashion sets which my Toys R Us does not usually keep in
stock. They had these beautiful dresses, I really loved the teal dress. They also had very cute sports sets: ballerina,
gymnastics, and cheerleader sets. And some pretty cool
casual and PJ sets too.
One thing they had
there that my daughter wanted so badly, but we couldn't get today was the
lounge set. It looks like a sectional and it comes with the coffee
table. It was priced at $59.99. Considering what American Girl charges
for furniture, I thought this was an awesome deal.
They also have the loft bed in
stock again and have a trundle bed (I didn't
get a picture).
Another cool thing they
had there was a bathtub and a beach set.
The new pets have their own pet bed. I
didn't see anything over $59.99 there. At those prices, it's much more
affordable for people that want to buy furniture accessories for their
18 inch dolls.

ReplyDeleteThe clothing doesn't fit. My daughter has one Journey Girl. I think they are taller and thinner than AG dolls. In general I wouldn't recommend Journey Girl because the quality of hair is not even comparable to AG dolls. Same goes for Our Generation dolls. But at least Our Generation clothing fits AG dolls.

DeleteChecked for journey girl items last Thurs. and some of the new sets are in. The one outfit I most wanted was not in yet nor the lounge set. May get the little husky? malamute? to go with Pepper - so cute!
