  2. Yea. I loved her too and was hoping they'd expand her collection. Wish I had gotten it at that deal they had this week because that Surcharge sucks.

  3. It doesn't make sense to me that they seem to be discontinuing her when she sells well. She looks like Cinderella here.

  4. I am so glad I went to the Houston AG Store yesterday and bought Caroline's Parlor! Love it!!! Maybe if anyone wanted to order it, they could contact an AG Store and have it shipped from the store. They will still have to charge the $20.00 shipping though.

  5. Ok, I'm sure there's a logical answer to my question. But what do they do with all the store displays of products? Do they just ship them back up to the company to put in a showcase room? Because I know that at the AG factory (a REALLY old tour from the oprah show is online, it's easy to find via google) they have some of the dolls in a nice room in glass display cabinets. Or do the store displays just get sold eventually? Maybe at the MCM sale? I've always wondered that...

    1. My Guess would be they sell most of those things at the MCM? Or maybe a perk for working at the American Girl Stores....
I've wondered myself when they did the archival of Nola etc.

  7. Reason she is retiring is because AG has pretty much lost the Copyright battle with the "recently trademarked name "Carolynne, and As if Our Caroline is the same, which it is not, the copyright place i believe told Mattel that "Caroline" was too close to "Carolynne (Carolynne is a Canadian Artist)
