New My Life As....Sets

My car broke down (LOL) and has been in the shop four days! I appreciate Nonna for getting to Wal-Mart and taking pictures of the new My Life As.....clothing sets.

New World Travel Doll Set and the Dancer's Closet Set (both include trunks). Trunk sets retail for $39.97

New clothing sets for $19.97

Also noticed - our favorite holiday sparkle dress is now available in three colors.

These really fancy dresses are available in three colors with tiaras and white with a veil.

I found four different tutu sets plus a ballet themed outfit.

(I guess Isabelle has left her mark).

Continuing with the multiple color theme were these interesting outfits.

Then, of course, these were all one-offs so I took them home... owl and kitty - I couldn't resist!

  1. Personally, this thrills me. 18 inch dolls are very popular, but not everyone can afford the American Girl price tag. I'm so glad to see all these affordable and adorable options.

  2. I saw the holiday dolls w/ aprons and recipes, there was one with brown hair, blue eyes, and freckles, like Saige. (Ooh, that gives me an idea! What if Grace came with recipes like McKenna had hairstyles!?)

  3. There is a website for these dolls now - it is mylifeasdolls.com
I love the dancer's closet set.

  4. WOW. I am very impressed by what they're doing with this line. Have managed to resist any other 18" dolls (other than AGs), but I think there may be another brand in my future, especially with those cute baking sets. Truly nicely done, and at good price points.

AG can get the $ because of the name (built on quality, yes -- there's no doubting that), but if the purpose of a doll is simply to delight, these pass the test.

    So glad you shared this!

  5. I'm glad there is an affordable option, giving AG as well as Our Generation some competition.

  6. What a well stocked Walmart! I have 5 Walmarts that I visit and none of them ever have this much My Life stuff out.

  7. Love all this new stuff--especially the Holiday Bakers--none of these new sets (some of the individual outfits) are available at my local Canadian WalMart, nor on the walmart.ca website. Bummer! :( Any Canadians spotted any yet? Would love those bakers and travel sets for my girls.
