Do you know if AG will be selling the winning design? I love that coat and red dress! Wuld get for my daughter as her Christmas dress!!! and Kaya's vest is amazing :)
I don't really know. I watched most of the episode. I LOVED Kaya and Samantha's look, but the other's not so much. I really think the designers didn't care. Their attitude seemed to be "okay let's get this thing over with" plus allot of them had never done children's wear. I'm glad they got most of the stuff right though. They didn't learn as much about each doll's story as I would have liked them too, but they only had like 3 days. There was one part where I was like "are they using a curling iron on the doll's hair?!?!? and then I saw it was on a model and i was like whew! I think Julie's jumpsuit needed that print in a brighter color scheme, that would have made it all better. Josefina's needed fabric ruffles, not those card ish things and Caroline's outfit was just NO. I hate to hate, but NO. Both the PR outfit and the BF inspired outfit aren't even dresses! Seriously people... I think the reason I don't like allot of these inspired outfits is because I'm used to AG copying the style of clothing and not the pattern/print. Oh well, at least it inspired me to sew!
The only outfit I was not fond of was the one that lost. I understood the designers passion in her work, but it didn't translate well for here.
Saw half the episode then watched the rebroadcast they air after the first. I really liked all of them even the iridescent one. Of course, you know I wished Julie's designer had gotten the peace sign correct. LOL
