I hope her meet outfit is not pink as well, I hope,it's aqua or plum purple like you said. I wish Nelliew as returning with her. I am probably getting Sam when she returns. :)
I agree that it is too Barbie-like. The image is pretty, but the colors don't seem appropriate for historical stuff... Maybe they will attract young girls (they might find ivory and burgundy boring), aqua and purple are my 9 year-old daughter's favorite colors after all... But from a grown-up point of view, it doesn't fit with heritage stuff. Maybe something in the middle - not too vintage, not too modern - would be better!
I am fine with the roses , not the colors however , I really hope they arent modernizing the Historical section . There are so many modern dolls , accessories and furniture please keep the History setion the way it is . But after seeing how Kit got a pink easter dress I am afraid we might be in for a bad surprise . I am trying to get as much as I can from the dolls I am collecting for before this revamp happends . Just in case !
I think it's totally obvious that AG is becoming more like barbie. I don't like the new logo, where do roses come into her story, Why is it all purple, pink, and blue, and WHY is AG getting more like barbie? ( The new pink kit set, all the red holiday dresses, this) I don't like the new logo. I hope that I can get the rest of the Molly books and other things that I want before anything happens to the historical line.
I love all the information on this blog, especially about Samantha, who was archived in 2008 when I was too young for AG. I have Saige, Ruthie, and Molly and would love Samantha when she returns. Just a little note....Amazon has new AG historical book titles for all the currently available including Samantha. But none are stated for Cecile and Marie Grace. Amazon only shows the titles of the books. Thanks!!
Thank you for being a blog reader. Yes Amazon and Books a Million have interesting place holders - you can read abut it here: http://livingadollslife.blogspot.com/2014/03/news-pre-order-ag-historical-books.html

ReplyDeleteI really don't like it. It's just too pink. And the font.....ugh. It doesn't scream 1904 to me. Plus, t really doesn't need the roses.
