Here's a simple idea on making a doll bed using boxes, duct tape and fabric.

I have made actual mattresses for my 12" dolls so this was a new concept for me - a great one too! Duct tape fabric on three sides, then stuff your mattress, closing the end when finished.
You can add fabric or ruffledt trim to glue on the sides for a bed skirt/dust ruffle.
I do not have AG bedding - I have just recently obtained Kirsten, Addy and Felicity. I made the bedding here.
