*REVIEW* Holiday Frosted Violet Gown

The Frosted Violet Gown is all about the details
It is a light purple asymmetric, sleeveless gown that has layers of tulle and tiny sequins and embroidery on the bodice. Maryellen looks great in it.

The bodice and shrug are both lined. The tulle is delicate so I recommend using a fuzzy Velcro piece when taking on and off to protect the tiers.

The inside of the skirt is not lined, but everything is well sewn and there is nothing to worry about catching on or tearing.

The accessories are a sequined shrug, jeweled sandals, a sequined handbag and a jeweled headband.

The shrug closes with a jewel button and elastic loop and is lined under the collar so the sequins don’t stick to each other.

The sandals have two round jewels and a square one at the front.

The headband has a jewel flower with tulle underneath. It also has that dumb tag that you have to cut off. They need to make those tear off so you don’t have to worry about damaging the headband. The glitter on the headband is a fuzzy material so it won’t leave glitter everywhere.

The sequined handbag has three clear teardrop jewels connected by a purple one for accent, a chain handle, and a Velcro closure.

The whole dress comes in a pretty, glittery box with a gold ribbon. The ribbon has elastic so you can open it up and check that everything is there before gifting. You can probably use the glittery star as a Christmas ornament.

  1. Thank you for your review of this dress. How does the dress look without the jacket? Plus, what color are the sandals, they look light gray with a white soles.

  2. Nice review. I like seeing all the details. Also thank you for the fuzzy Velcro strip for changing. Never thought of that. Would make things easier...less snagging hair too.
