*NEW* AG Historical Abridged Books
Well that didn’t take long. My daughters and I saw the
new covers a while back and couldn’t believe the mistakes that were
made. We didn’t think those mistakes would be acceptable at AG years
ago. Maybe you have heard about AG abridging the books. They removed
whole chapters from the books. Rebecca’s Hanukkah section was supposedly
removed. I’m hearing Christmas was removed from Maryellen's. Just when you think it might start to turn around for the historical collection, it gets worse.
Chapters 11-15 were removed from Julie's book.
Chapters 10-13 were removed from Maryellen's book.

Nanea's Market Extras
I used this $1 Spam set I got from Target awhile ago as additional market food.
I found this mini chrome shopping cart for $9.99 at World Market. It is
similar to a 1940's shopping cart someone might have used in Pono's
Market. I added the food from the Wal-Mart food basket. The pineapple
and other fruit say Hawaii to me. For $18.99 for the two sets, this
would make a fun gift set.
The wheels spin easily on the metal cart.

*In Store Report* Windows!!!! AGP NY
At AGPNY there was one window for the Nanea doll and one window for Create Your Own. It was a nice sunny day, but unfortunately that caused large reflections on the glass.

*REVIEW* Molly's 1944 Swimsuit
Molly’s 1944 Swimsuit
Whether Molly's spending the day by the
lake at Camp Gowonagin or at the beach with her family, make sure she
has lots of summer fun is this outfit that features:
- A ruffled, tropical-print swimsuit A faux seashell necklace and a pair of sunglasses
- Peach-striped canvas espadrille shoes
- A green-patterned beach towel and beach ball
Molly's 1944 Swimsuit was released the summer of 2005 for $24.00 and included AG Trading cards. It has since retired.
I found mine at a thrift store for a few dollars, in a bag with other random doll clothes. The necklace, trading cards and beach ball were missing. I love this outfit!
I thought you might enjoy seeing Nanea in her 1941 swimsuit with Molly's.
