Creating Isabelle's Space

When Izzy was released, I had made a HTM Video for those of us who couldn't afford her $275 Design Studio. I decided to give it a go myself!

Time is working against me....it's the BUSIEST time of year so I will have to postpone accessorizing her shelving area. I just really wanted to get a designated space for her so she was settled before the end of the year.

My Target stores didn't have this...and if they did it was purchased quickly because I was unable to find it. 

I love this set....it's an affordable option to Isabelle's studio, (which I couldn't afford!)

 

Lots of cute pieces! Everything she needs for sewing projects.

Even a real doll sized clothing pattern and fabric.

The dress form is entirely made of hard plastic.

I tried the pin cushion on her wrist and it didn't fit, it was VERY difficult to manipulate - too stiff and I didn't want to break it.

Happy to finally have this set for Isabelle!

*UPDATE* GOTY14 Isabelle

Yes, yes....I know....Isabelle is BACK IN MY COLLECTION!

I hadn't realized just how much I missed her, so when I was able to obtain her on DEEP DISCOUNT, I decided to bring her home (again).

I'm really not a modern doll collector because my heart lies with the historical characters, but I AM a doll lover so Izzy is back home at LADL living with her GOTY sisters Saige and Grace.

Welcome (back) home Isabelle!

Emily finds the new set which is $29.99 at Target 

A closer look and there it is a pattern to make a real doll dress and it comes with enough fabric.

The set out of the box.  The Dress form comes in two pieces, but it pops together and is very sturdy.  It looks to be the size for an 18" doll.  It is all hard plastic.

Isabelle takes over, she is the seamstress in the family.

Isabelle tests the chair fit and how easily she can get comfortable, The whole set is plastic.

 Isabelle can reach the sewing machine and starts trying it out, the handle makes the needle go up and down.

Emily wants to help, she can cut out the pattern. The scissors are bigger then previous sets and they open and close.

Combining the previous OG sewing set and this one, Isabelle has plenty of sewing items.  Notice the older machine can fit the table, it is exactly like the newer set except for the color.

Over all this is set is very nice and I do not think it will last on the shelf long enough to be a sale item.  They only thing I would have liked for it to have is the table drawers to open and for the table to be a sturdy/heavy plastic.

Love this set.

Ballet Barre $45

Display of girls Beforever by the escalator.

You come up the elevator and you see this. It extends more to the right. It was so crowded I waited in a block long line to get in. It moved fast.

She did get Isabelle's Ballet Barre.
