Dress, headband, ballet shoes, nutcracker

The dress is very nice. There is a cotton underskirt. The main dress material is something that I’m not familiar with. The top or outside feels like satin or shimmery, but appears to be a woven cotton. It is nice. I like that the bow is sewn in place, since it is so hard for me to retie the bows so that they look nice. The ruffle around the collar is the same ribbon that is at the waist. The lace isn’t stiff. The nutcracker is all plastic, and has the lever that moves the mouth, like a nutcracker.

The outfit comes with a leotard, tutu, tights, battle slippers, crown, and wand.

Leotard is velvet material with sequin fabric in the middle and a jewel at center neckline. It has silver elastic shoulder straps. Velcro opening in the back.

Tutu - Silver elastic at the waist, feet snowflake with age in the middle,  5 velvet shapes with silver embroidery and gem. There are 4 layers of tulle. The top most layer has silver sparkles/glitter, layer under is softer tulle without sparkles/glitter, then another layer of the sparkle/glitter tulle and then the softer without sparkles/glitter. Shoes  The material has sliver stars and lace up ribbon ties. The front of the shoes turns up just like on ballet shoes. 

The wand is heavy and seems to be made of metal. there is one gem in the middle of the snowflake.

Hat, Shirt, pants, boots, and belt

The hat is red velvet material, with gold embroidery, gold cord and gold elastic chin strap. It has a black cotton lining. 

The shirt is made from the same red velvet material. It has gold embroidery, gold fringe, and black faux leather. The faux leather doesn’t feel cheap, and it is soft, not stiff. 

The pants are a stretchy cotton. They have a heavier weight to them, not thin. Very nice. 

 

The shoes and belt are faux leather.  The shoes have a hard sole. Velcro opening in the back.

SUPER HERO Costumes!

Julie is dressed at Supergirl! Her costume is from etsy ($40). The Superman costume is from a vendor at the MCM sale ($25).

Both have red capes. Supergirl's cape ties at the neck, Superman's cape has a velcro closure. Both costumes have an "S" patch.
