  1. These are pictures of Truly Me dolls in summer Olympics gear. Do you have any pics of Courtney Moore?

  3. Lol I did not think Courtney Moore was a real thing, but it'll be interesting to get a new historical character, and she's bound to be a big seller due to the 80s, it's something everyone has been wanting for a while now. I can't wait to see what happens with the doll with the prosthetic leg in the running picture. I'm not sure if she'll be an actual doll or if it's just highlighting the work that Step Ahead prosthetics does on American Girl Dolls.

  4. My daughters and I have been chatting about the silhouette. Looks like maybe she has a headband around her head, so I immediately thought of Jazzercize. We looked at old videos of Jazzercize and chuckled, at how different exercise videos are today from then. After we watched those videos, I thought about FlashDance movie. That was popular in the 80's. We found a Flashdance Barbie doll, with the headband and a ripped sweatshirt. With AG trying to revamp the historical line, make the clothes look a bit more modern, we thought AG might go with a Flashdance type doll, since ripped clothing is in style. We will be keeping our eyes open for leaks, clues and waiting patiently to meet Courtney. We are also interested in the US Olympics gear. Some nice outfits to get for keepsake. Julie's new basketball is red, white and blue.

  5. I admit I am disappointed that we are getting a 1980s doll because, let's face it...there's not much history there except MTV and arcade when it comes to American Girl. I really wanted a 1920s doll. But, who knows, maybe I'll learn something else. We shall see.

  6. Um, YES! I can't wait! I am confused though, because it looks like Courtney has a headband wrapped around her head, which is a selling accessory currently from Julie's collection; specifically her accessory set.

  7. I’d like a 20’s doll and 1690’s doll! The 80’s were horrible.
