Walmart has doll environmentalists!
I bought the brown haired, dark vinyl doll. She has brown sleep eyes.
Her outfit is nicely made from recycled materials and that makes me feel good about buying her as a doll collector.
Her
outfit also reminds me of the American Girl GOTY doll Lanie due to the
cool and sunny color combination. Yellow boots lined with green
trimming. Green and white sleeves with tiny polka dots and grey and
blues for Earth colors.
Jeans are nice and made with light material with green threading.
Shirt is tied at waste to hide some of the recycled threading around waste and front of jeans.
Gloves are nice as well. Recycling bag has a nylon feel and is stuffed with recycled stuffing and filler.
Hair bows are ribbon and can be undone not connected to hair elastic. Hair is nice and long with curls at the end.
This
doll is so cute. She can be used as a substitute for Lanie or a
gardener due to gloves and boots which could be seen as gardening
accessories. She would also fit in at a farmer's market as well.
Great price around $24.99 under $30 with tax. Love this doll!
She is cute. I don't think I have seen her before. It's great to get young folks involved in environmentalism.
ReplyDeletedoes anyone know of any doll that has the same features as this doll? My granddaughter lost hers earlier this year and wants her to come back for Christmas! Hers has brown hair, green eyes and freckled. the closest I have seen is the farmer, but her hair is a different color and her face seems to be a little different shape. Thank you!
