Rebecca loves to share special Sabbath meals with her family (it’s
her favorite time of the week!) and hopes to one day have the honor of
lighting her family’s Sabbath candles. Set includes:
- A brass-colored metal samovar brought over from Russia with a removable lid and handle that turns to dispense hot water
- A brass-colored metal tray
- A loaf of traditional Jewish braided bread, hallah, and a special embroidered cloth to rest it on
- A ceramic teapot with floral details and a paper tea box
- A white ceramic plate with gold trim to match the teapot
- A set of rugalach, traditional Jewish pastries
- Two real glasses with etched details
- Note: Do not place liquids in samovar.
I don't have Rebecca, Ruthie is my stand in.
The set retails for $70.
This is a pretty set. I mistakenly thought it was an afternoon tea set. I love how it has been created.
ReplyDeleteIt really is a nice set!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! Did they use the wrong pot for picture? It has gold! Is there gold on the tea pot? Does anyone have the original tea set and the 1st Beforever one where they can do a review of how it differs? Very interested in the kettle sizes and design.
ReplyDeleteTricia, this is the teapot that came with this set. I checked AG Playthings and they do show a different teapot(white with a gold handle, spout and top of the lid). It also came with the blue candle stick holders and white candles. I would much rather have the old set that included the candlesticks and that set was $68. Two dollars cheaper than my set.
