The Rise of the Resistance attraction opens TODAY at Disney's Hollywood Studios, Walt Disney World, Orlando, FL.
According to Disney this is a very detailed immersive ride that may not be suitable for the following: under 7 years of age must be accompanied by someone 14 years or older, free from high blood pressure, heart, back or neck problems, and motion sickness, and expectant mothers should not ride.

Aboard an I-TS trying to leave Batuu, your estimated ride time is at about 18 minutes long, the ride will have 4+ ride systems and 300+ figures, some of which move with audio-animatronics. The vehicle has two rows, four seat wide with one seat belt. The TRACKLESS ride will move your vehicle forward, side to side and backwards including one serious DROP! The drop is simulated of course as you crash land on Batuu.
There is a pre-show, with a few favorite Star Wars characters like BB-8 and a hologram of Rey.

This looks like a fun ride, although I fall into the category of "cannot ride." I will look for Youtube videos next year to see if I can have an "arm chair" experience of the ride.
