This is my Madame Alexander Dear America "Remember Patience Whipple", Mayflower, 1620. This doll was made in 1999 and 2000. She retailed for $79.99
I found her at a Marshall's in New Jersey a long time ago for $39.99.
This 1620 pilgrim wears a vest that velcros shut and an apron that velcros.
She has sleep eyes.
Pull on skirt with elastic waist and lace detail at hem.
Matching muslin pantaloons with lace detail.
Lace detail at neckline.
Original ponytail.
Closer look at apron and blouse.
Hard dark eyelashes. Feathered brown eyebrows.
Interesting description of 1620's pilgrim clothes. Brown, brick red, as
on the Dear America doll, yellow and blue were popular colors.
Black clothes were worn on special occasions as the fabric was not easy to dye and maintain color.
