*REVIEW* Nanea School Outfit

Nanea loves school and is happy to be back a month after the bombing. She wears this outfit that her mother made her for Christmas. This set includes:
  • A pretty floral-print dress with flounce sleeves and a tiered skirt
  • Geometric-woven sandals with crisscross ankle straps and laces that tie in front
  • A metal barrette engraved with “Nanea”—a Christmas gift from her sister, Mary Lou
  • A “Remember Pearl Harbor” pin with a faux pearl in place of the word “pearl”—a Christmas surprise from Papa

A look at Nanea's school dress. The dress has a stiff cotton feel with a lovely muted print with tropical flowers. The print on the shoes doesn't match, but would be nice with the meet outfit.

Pin slides on.

Not sure why the Remember Pearl Harbor pin is tarnished. I don't think it necessarily would have been in 1941 when Nanea would have worn it.

  1. Lovely outfit! I think the effect of the pin is supposed to be antiqued or burnished. That was a popular style in the early to mid 20th century. Thank you for sharing these beautiful pictures! :)

  4. Lovely outfit.
I think the barrette looks a bit large, but still very nice.
