The outside clothes are kind of priced reasonably, but they're still a bit expensive, I saw prices really ranging all across the board, it just depends on who you're buying from. No idea how much the lounge chairs were, I didn't get too much stuff from the vendors.
It is very crazy inside the warehouse so filming would be difficult. I did see someone with a camera or phone on a stick so there might be a video coming at some point.
Wow, those were some long check out lines! At 9:30 (which was really 10:45) we had no wait to check out. So, there's that :). We have some pictures and a report on our blog. Haven't seen any video but it is so hard to move that video would be rough!
You got much better pictures than I did! I was 815 but they fell an hour behind between 800 and the 815 spot (someone said it was the fire marshall making them do a better accounting of how many people were there). But the weather was fine and the people in line are all super nice. It is fun to chat with people from all over. The girl in line next to me was from Michigan (I am from Virginia) and we traded doll tips. I got the doll I "needed" on Saturday and then on Sunday I was at 830 and there were only brown haired dolls left by the time I got in (though there was a decent selection of Wellie Wishers). We got the dolls we needed for donation at Christmas and there were people with bags and bags of dolls. It was crazy! All of the dolls I got have removable underwear.
I bought dresses from a few vendors (one I can't remember the name, I'll have to see if it is on the receipt because I LOVED her dresses and now have 4 of them (as does my mom)). I will try to do some reviews.
I saw an interview of the prior Mattel CEO, who said that the WW line was selling really well. Interesting that there were WW dolls left on Sunday, and Target has some items on clearance and AG webpage has some on sale.
I think the outside vendors would be my favorite part! We're the outside clothes priced reasonably? How much were the lounge chairs? Madelon

DeleteThanks! What did you buy inside? Were you happy with your experience? Madelon
DeleteLooks like a fun day! Wish I could be there!
ReplyDeleteI have been looking for a video posting of this years event. So far I can't find one. Thanks for the pictures. I am sure it was a long day.
