Tammy joined me on my walk today. I walk a lot of hills and this is my
favorite view. (note I'm wearing my Gonzaga hat in
support of their basketball team playing today in the playoffs...March
madness!!!)
You can't really see it right now, but some spring those
hills will be covered with a blanket of green. My grandfather used to
call them "Velvet Hills"
We also stopped by the roadside library to make an exchange.
I try to buy any Little House books I find at thrift stores and leave
them here. Books are a gift.
The hens came to visit us...They seemed
curious about Tammy. Lol!
I love those little libraries! So fun!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. Do the mountains stay green during the summer? Can you see Mt. Rainer? On I-82, just north of Yakima, there is a place where you can see the Mts. It is a nice view. The hens are cute.
ReplyDeleteThey brown up during the summer. On clear days, we can see Mt Adams to our left and Mt Rainier to the right from the freeway(saw it almost daily when I used to drive my kids to school) the hens were so curious and friendly
