The sun was shining so I wanted to photograph Felicity. She has lovely green eyes. I bought her when she was retiring.
I love finding small things that can be repurposed into historical doll
play. Felicity's release is a disappointment to me because I wanted to
see the creative minds at American Girl bring history to life. Sadly,
the rumour is that won't happen. Here are some of the things that I have
in my non-American Girl colonial collection. My Felicity was purchased
just before she archived. The sofa was made by Tender Hearts.
The chair matches the sofa.
Tilt top table, rag rug, another colonial doll and basket.
I used this dark wood jewelry box with shell detail as a chest. Add small glass pieces and earthenware.
White pottery with blue design was popular.
Earthenware jug.
This is a small informal area with a wood colonial style bench.
