*FEATURE* A 60s Summer - DIY Dinette Set

Found this 60s dinette set on Pinterest for inspiration. Combining OG and AG furniture to make a 1960's inspired dinette set.

Place mats, utensils and vase came with table.

I thought the table was the right shape and size.

1960s dinette chairs often had metal legs and a plastic seat. The chairs are from an older AG desk set.

  1. Nice setup Madelon! I always try to use what I already have, if possible. Don't know if I have any 60's items though.

  2. I did not grow up inthe 1960s, yet these chairs remind me of the chairs in my elementary school around the reading table. Very cute find!

    1. Just thinking the same thing, I was in school in the 80's in Australia.

  3. I had to take another look at the background in your last picture with the chairs. The wallpaper is amazing with this set! Plus the dresses on the dolls are just too cute. Lovely, now they just need a tuber ware party...I think that is what it was called. With hats that will match Melody's.

    1. Ticia, thank you! I am now going to look to see what small plastic containers I can find to make a party. My dollar store sometimes has ten containers for a dollar. Madelon
