That's a really interesting hairdo... Had not realized the stylists would do a hairdo like that (guess I'm behind the times!). Lovely pictures, Maxine, thanks for sharing!
Thank. The hair style turned out incredible and it is called a waterfall. My poor Baby was so sleepy as you all can see in Her little eye's. Hope-Faith wanted to go to this event. The line started at 6am we arrived a little later. This was a incredible event with wonderful people.
Yes that is Grace Thomas. It was a hard transition for Her and still is. I felt so bad when We grabbed Lea instead of Grace today to go with to American Girl Doll Place Houston to pick up the Fruit Stand
Maxine, what do you like the best about Lea? I bought her on Jan 1st too. I love her hair. It is so silky. I did not like her before I saw her in the store. But, when I saw her I inew I wanted to buy her. Her collection is expensive so I may only buy some of her outfits. I love her pajamas which surprised me because I hate the color green, But they are so cute. Glad AG came out with some new colors,
I love Her hair. It reminds me of Saige's so manageable and soft. Her face reminds Me of Rebecca and Het eye's are exotic. Her playfulness goes with my 5 years spirit at this time.
Love the photos and the hairstyle is super cute. The ribbons really give it a more tropical feel which is lovely. Love the mommies daughter photos too. Looks like an overall great event. Can't wait to add Lea to the family and see what her story reveals about her love for the rain forest and how we can explore through her story.
Lea's last name is Clark, from St. Louis, MO. Thought it was interesting that Meriwether Lewis and William Clark started the expedition in MO. In addition, U.S. National Parks turn 100 in August 2016. So I have been thinking and wondering if AG will have any events with the national parks (like they did with Williams Sonoma, and Sur la Table). Lea does have a hiking outfit. There is a rainforest in the Olympic National Park in WA. Time will tell, but that would be great!
In doing some looking around, for those that are interested, there are 16 entrance fee - free days to go visit a national park. http://www.nps.gov/findapark/feefreeparks.htm
This is great information. Hope-Faith is a 1st Year Girl Scout so this will be great information to share with Her troop leader so hopefully they can plan some event's around it.

ReplyDeleteI LOOOOOOVE Lea. The thing is you have to be careful with her hair because you can comb the curls out easily! I still LOOOOVE her!
