Starting November 12th, Hancock Fabrics is having an in-store and online sale that includes $.99 Simplicity patterns! They have the American Girl ones in-stock so they will also be $.99! I'm literally going to buy them all. :P
There are American Girl Simplicity patterns at Hancock Fabrics online store for $1.99 ea. http://hancockfabrics.com/search?q=american%20girl%20simplicity
Patterns at Joann's go on sale every 6 weeks or so for $1.00. Wait for the $1.00 sales rather than even get it for 40% off, I sew a lot and find simplicity patterns don't always fit as well so you have to fit the doll or change the pattern sometimes, I found that especially true with the Elsa pattern. I would consider myself an expert seamstress and would recommend McCall patterns for beginners. Michele
I really want to go to my Hobby Lobby and see those American Girl brand patterns. They look interesting! :)

Michele: Thanks for the advice. Are there particular McCall Patterns that you recommend for beginners? Madelon
