While at the 4th Walmart looking for the My Life As costumes for 18"
dolls, I came across this cute outfit which was very well made and fit
in well with the new accessories just released by OG.
Made out of grey sweatsuit material not often found since the release of fleece, it comes with a hoodie jacket, t-shirt with pink symbol and skirt with shorts.

The pink shorts are attached.
Maggie is modeling the outfit which fits very well.
Maggie had a homework assignment from her history class. She was to write about something from the 1960, so as she looked through the accessory container and she found the perfect items. Off she went to seat under her favorite tree. Can you guess what she found?....the lava lamp and fluffy pink pillow.
Love those shorts attached to the shirt. This type of outfit was very popular for girls in 1960.

That IS a pretty one. Good find!
ReplyDeleteLove the T-shirt!
ReplyDeleteOk. I'm not going to sugar coat this, but the majority of girls did NOT wear peace signs in the 1960s. I don't understand where everyone gets this information from, but you cannot listen to the stereotypes. I grew up in the 1960s, and didn't wear peace signs 24/7. I'm sick of the false information being spread, not every person was a hippie!
ReplyDeleteLove this outfit. Quality is great. Pretty as can be.
ReplyDeleteNot only did we not wear peace signs much, but pink was NOT a prominent color until Barbie went pink in the 80s!
