*In Store Report* New Fall OG Retro Accessories + OG Shoes

Lots of cute OG Retro accessories and shoes, here's what to look for at your Target store.

OG has really made a variety of accessories available under the Retro line. These are great for modern and historical dolls.

I love OG shoes and wish they would do away with those wide rubber ones that come in the Deluxe Sets.

  4. OMG! These are so cool! Can I still say OMG or is that now old school? Either way these items are on my list, mostly the sneakers for my modern dolls. But I see alot of things that would work for Julie. So cute. Thanks for sharing this info. ;)

  7. I usually love the OG line, but I am a bit disappointed in some of the items. I grew up in the '60s and '70s, and most children wouldn't wear peace signs all over their clothing. I didn't. I just really dislike how everyone stereotypes that time as all about peace. AG stamps a peace sign on Julie's meet shirt, and now OG too?! Not everyone was a hippie, and were against the war. I have family who fought in Vietnam, and we just don't do peace signs. Where is the respect for the soldiers who went to war? The hippies treated those soldiers terribly. Why promote that behavior?

  10. While I love quite a few of the new sets; I'm getting tired of every accessory set having glasses or sunglasses. Sometimes they fit and wear well and other times they don't. It's upsetting to have an unusable item. And that is the third time the white flower glasses are in a set. I do like the aviators in the first set.

I definitely thought of Julie Anne when I saw some of these.

I also agree with Anonymous about the peace signs (not for exactly the same reasons). I too grew up in the 70s and when I look at my childhood albums there are very few peace signs or tie dye in them. Rainbows, owls, raccoons, koalas, flowers - yes. Even unicorns near the end of the decade. What about the bicentennial symbol?

Definitely 4 pair of shoes I'll be looking for! Plaid All Over, Purr-fect Footprint, Fringe Fashion, and Stars and Stripes. :)
