I have wanted #21 for a while. I know, I know. I'm predominately a collector of historical dolls, however this doll is cuteness with her green eyes, lined brows, honey blonde pigtails and (Felicity like) tendrils.
She is in like new condition!
She is super cute!
There are some TM outfits I need for her.
Her hair is very easy to care for! If you're looking for a doll for a young doll enthusiast, I recommend #21!!! Her hair holds the bouncy soft memory curls and can be left up or let down.
The tendrils curl right back into to shape no problem. They're cute and frame her face, but aren't difficult to deal with like Marie Grace's.
Meet Bethany!

Rhonda, I tried the video and it says it has been removed by you. I have this doll. I bought her because I think she is so pretty and I love her hair. You are right. Her hair is very easy to take care of.
ReplyDeleteOh no! I double checked...please try the video again.
DeleteCongrats! I think she looks like an amber. You could name her Bethany Amber! She's adorable.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea!!
DeleteShe is so cute! #21 holds a special place in my heart because she was my first doll, and though she has struggled through a lot of hard play, I love her to pieces. Congratulations on getting #21, Rhonda! :)

Thanks Mia. She is adorable, glad you have her in your collection too :-)
DeleteWhere did you get her?
ReplyDeleteLove the ponytails! Both names are cute.
ReplyDeleteI don't know what happened earlier but now I can view the video. I like both names but I love the name Bethany. As a teenager I was a babysitter for a little girl named Bethany. I named one of my dolls Bethany after her.
ReplyDeleteI had this girl! She reached out to me from the over of one the big AG holiday catalogs from a few years back. Although she is adorable, and her hair is fantastic, I ended up giving her away (actually in a raffle to raise money for dogs). She reminded me so much of Shirley Temple, who I love, but I think of Shirley as a much younger character than an AG girl. Anyway, she is terrifically cute and extremely photogenic. Congrats!
ReplyDeletep.s. Yours is the only blog I visit regularly. I have a blog of my own and a Facebook page I actively moderate, but yours is the only blog I will seek out and look at regularly, besides my own. I think it's because you are so sincere and down to earth and your own voice comes through. You also have real integrity as a blogger, which I respect a LOT. Dolly On!
ReplyDeleteThank you Laurie, I really appreciate your continued support and kind words.
DeleteCongrats! She's lovely. If it is not I have to save for Maryellen, #21 would be my pick for the Truly Me dolls. I love that she has hazel eyes, honey blonde hair and line eyebrows. I think she's the only doll who has line eye brows besides Julie.
ReplyDeleteOh I think you're right about her brows! *Claps hands* I like variety and uniqueness in my collection.
DeleteBTW Bethany Amber is a very pretty name.
ReplyDeleteI got my #21 when she was a My American Girl. Of all the classic faces and variations of hair etc she was the one that stood out for me as well (until #61). I called my girly Emily. I think Bethany Amber is a lovely choice.
ReplyDeleteI agree - I love 'Bethany Amber'. :) Or possibly something like 'Bethany-Anne'. :)
ReplyDeleteBethany is adorable! Congratulations on the addition to your family.
ReplyDeleteThank you, she is a cutie pie!!
