*In Store Report* AG Oshkosh Outlet

Rina has an In-Store Report for us!
We were on our way to visit my in laws in Green Bay and stopped into Oshkosh outlet mall in Wisconsin. They had some super deals. There were lots of Josefina clothes, her bed and table.

Julie's LE Dance Set $32.00 and Julie's hibachi grill $4.00.

Julie's dog walking outfit $10.00. They are also selling Julie dolls in her old meet outfit $80.00.

Addy's Ice Cream set $35.00.

BB Deluxe Layette Set $50.00.

Rebecca's BF Meet outfit and accessories; Addy's holiday dress.

Caroline's Table and chairs $140.00.

The pets with carrier $10.00.

The Snow Much Fun set with the snowman was $5.00. The old bedding from the retired Just Like You bed for $14.00. A retired sleeping bag for dolls $14.00. What I was most excited about was the old baking table and treats set for $35.00! I picked up the last one, a display.

Eye glasses $5.00.

There were Isabelle items as well, her accessories were $15.00. I picked up her kitten for $8.00 and her doll makeup box for $17.00. They had most of her mix and match clothes available.

Book $1.00.

Kit's holiday dress $16.00 and birthday dress $24.00.

Saige's picnic set $12.00 and her sketch pad .25 cents.

Rebecca's sideboard and stage makeup.

Rebecca's School Set $10.00.

Kaya's Doll and Cradle board $22.00.

AGP Miami T-shirts and AGP NYC T-shirts $1.00. AGP Dallas hats $1.00.

They had the new catalogs with Truly Me on the cover and inside.

Wow thank you Rina for this in store report! I find it odd that Samantha's BF flower picking set and Jip are there! Why does Rebecca have the most items on sale there at the outlet?

Classic meet outfit
Souvenir set
 Sideboard
Butterfly costume
Stage Makeup
Bed
School set
Hairstyling set
Mini dolls

What is most disturbing is that her BeForever Meet outfit and accessories are there on the table. Hmmm, I hope this doesn't mean 1914 Rebecca's in danger of an archival soon. Bringing back 1904 Samantha is very close in date. We will have to wait for the second BF wave in August to see what new items Rebecca has added to her collection. It's difficult to tell.

  3. Thanks for sharing this! I have thought for a while that Rebecca will be the next to archive. All her mysteries have been on sale. I think Rebecca or Julie will archive next year.

    2. We are truly blessed to have the Outlet Store here in Wisconsin , I wish they would lower they're prices online and in the retail stores to make it more affordable for everyone .

  5. I'm with you, Linda R. I wish for an outlet within an hours drive! Great deals, and probably offer prices closer to their actual cost to produce too.

  6. Thanks for sharing! It is a good thing I am not nearby! It shows AG can have decent prices. Madelon

    1. Most Caroline items they had were regular price , I guess because of her announced retirement they think people will pay full price at the outlet if it's available there .

  8. Are some of these returns that can't be resold? Madelon

  10. We truly did find lots of great deals there , I think it was the cheapest I have ever seen it and believe it was because of Memorial Day weekend . I was amazed that they sold Julie in store because they usually do not offer dolls at the Outlet . It is about a two hour drive for us to get to Oshkosh so we usually go every few month . I will definetly be back there in July or August to see what might be on sale for be forever . We had lots of fun . Thank you Rhonda for posting the pictures .

  11. Wow! What awesome deals!! I would go crazy in there buying everything I didn't already have. Thanks for sharing: )

  12. Great deals. But I can't help but wonder, if they are making this much excess and then selling it in the outlets, why can't they either A. reduce their prices to begin with or B. make these available for sale on the website? It costs money to run an outlet store like this, there is considerable overhead. I'm starting to get really annoyed. Especially when I see things on sale dirt cheap there that are still available online at full price.

  13. Madelone I'm not sure what the price was for Samantha's flower picking set , I didn't really look at it sorry . The items in the table are returns , there were tons after Christmas . Sometimes there are pieces missing so you have to give those items a good look over before purchasing .

  14. grannabaugh , it is very hard not to buy the whole store Lol :) especially since I have two daughters at different ages one likes the 18 inch dolls and my little one likes the bitty baby's . I usually let them each pick 2 items depending on the price and I try to only buy what I really love .

  15. We live a couple hours away from there, so might have to head there this weekend with all of those good deals. Thanks Rina for the report and also Rhonda for posting.

  17. Does anyone know if you can buy over the phone with credit card and have it shipped. What City and State is this outlet?

    ReplyDelete
  18. The Outlet store is in Oshkosh Wisconsin , as far as I know they do not hold or ship items especially since they don't have a regular inventory , it can change daily .

  19. I would love to go but it is a 2.5 to 3 hour drive for me. I wish they offered more sales on the website. It does not have to be marked down as much as reported here but 30% or even 35% would be nice. We are new to AG so I purchased a lot on cyber Monday and the week afterwards and stashed some away for future gifts. I know a lot of people said they were not happy with cyber Monday because it was all retired stuff but my kids were ecstatic. Now they see the catalogs and want more specific items so I can see we are going to have a "price" issue in the future.

  20. I agree and hope Rebecca doesn't retire too!! I'm also surprised to see dolls there, I thought that a) they were devoted to not selling dolls and b) that Julie was a top seller. Was I wrong about Julie?

    1. I don't think you are wrong about Julie being a top seller , I believe that because she was such a good seller they had many readily available before the outfit change and now have to sell them anywhere possible .

  21. How big is the store, would you estimate? Did you take pictures of most of what was there? How do they decide what goes to the Madison sale versus the warehouse. I bet they get huge shipments now that everything in the MYAG packing won't be sold anymore. (Sorry for all the questions). Madelon

    1. It's the average outlet store size with dressing rooms in the back not really all that big ! I tried to get pictures of most of the 18 inch doll items , some bitty items , books ect I didn't really take pictures of the girl clothes but they do have quite the selection as well . For instance Julys pajamas , Caroline's pajamas , Isabelle outfits for girls holiday dresses , bitty outfits for girls , shirts and pants as well as Saiges Sweater .

    2. I'm not sure how they decide what to sell where , I guess they provide a certain amount for the warehouse sale and children's museum sale and the rest goes to the outlet store . I'm sure it will be very well stocked during the summer month :)

  22. Just called and they no longer take phone orders.

    1. Oh Noooooooooo!!!!!!!!! We need to be able to do phone orders. The Store could be sold out in one day!!!!!!!!! What will we do Ladies?

    2. Lol they get a weekly shipment in , but if you are going and have a far trip I would call beforehand and ask when they expect they're next shipment . So you can plan your trip accordingly and won't stand in a picked over store :)

  23. I have noticed a correlation between the items at the Outlet store and the Wilmot sale.... Though a doll at the Outlet is a whole new twist. We were at the outlet in April https://dollsbetweenus.wordpress.com/2015/04/04/american-girl-outlet-oshkosh/ and I see from my pictures that Rebecca's school set was 14.00 .... And 10.00 at your visit!

    ReplyDelete
  24. Yes the Rebecca boxes actually still had the $14 sticker on them but they had a sign up staying it for $10 . So they must have just changed it a little while ago . Or perhaps just for Memorial Day weekend .

    ReplyDelete
  25. Thanks for answering all of my questions! Madelon

    ReplyDelete
  26. Wow! I so wish I was closer. There were a couple of items I'd like to have.

Okay, I also agree with Flo and Julie Anne's mom! What they heck? Start out with lower prices and you'll sell more before it goes to the outlet.

  27. Sadly I live in Florida and can't drive to Wisconsin for the outlet store. Here I missed out on Caroline's table n chair set. It was $140 went down to $90. 5 days away on getting it it sold out. I was so upset over it. I tried looking for it. Ebay is too high!!! My P.S. kept an eye out for returns. And here the outlet has it n for its full price of $140. No way to order it n have it shipped. As seen here there's a lot of stuff from the before n after. Soon Caroline's collection will be here as well. Thanks for sharing! :)

  28. Is this a store or an event? I have never heard of outlet stores that open to the public year round.

  29. OMG, I'very heard about this place a while ago. My family is going on a trip up north soon (I live in AZ) maybe I can snatched some things I missed on. Also, I am getting worried for Rebbecca. Melody Ellison is coming out this summer. Maybe that is Rebbecca's replacment?😦
