THANK YOU!
That means LADL has picked up new readers along the way. Welcome new readers!!
When meeting new people, I get asked that age old question..."what do you do?" Well....I blog...a lot! And I love it! When I began this blog in September 2012, I did so because I wanted to connect with the doll community. Period. I have to say - it worked! I love to communicate with readers and fellow bloggers all over the globe.
Other reasons why I blog:
I love writing. I am a creative person by nature, a theater person, an artistic crafty person who loves dolls and what better way to do all of this than through writing? Blogging daily requires I meet deadlines, and there is a self imposed pressure to create, invent and find new ideas each day. For me that's very motivating! Plus I like to keep BUSY!

I also enjoy learning from other doll bloggers/vloggers. I am constantly fascinated at how creative people can be. I have seen unique, complicated projects that look intimidating, yet devoted bloggers/vloggers do their best to break it down in easy step - by - step instructions so people, like me, can feel confident in attempting an otherwise overwhelming project. (MyFroggyStuff is a GREAT example of this!)
I love photos! Sharing them and viewing other people's doll collections and projects. They say a picture is worth a thousand words....
Over time this blog has changed (and grown) to actually become a full time occupation. With an international readership in 24 countries and the USA, LADL aims to provide the latest news and fun seasonal project ideas for all ages and reviews from various doll brands. Each of
these areas have grown organically and are a permanent part on the blog. It is not by chance that doll companies partner with doll blogs, they provide yet another avenue to reach people
that perhaps no other site can.
Bloggers
may spend a lot of time alone in front of a computer, but when given the
chance we will chat face to face about our love of dolls with great ease. I have people at the post office, antique shops and at craft and hobby stores asking for advice on buying a doll, or for information on vintage dolls they found in family storage.
LADL has not only brought me real friendships with other doll lovers, but has become sort of a meeting place for the doll community to discuss various doll related topics. That is what I especially love! LADL welcomes ALL doll collectors to connect and enjoy friendships from around the world.
I have found that I am truly Living a Doll's Life. It
has totally changed my life and afforded me a very wonderful opportunity to share what I love, to offer something to others and for me that
is very important.
To all of my friends in the doll community all over the world, thank you for stopping by each day. Here's to 2 Million views!
-Rhonda
