Hmmm... Does this mean they are phasing out the DIY doll books? :( If so, darn! I have always loved them, and I had intentions of buying all of them. Oh well.
I was just in the Houston store this afternoon and they still have Grace's bakery on the floor. They also have slips to take up to the register for the bakery. I didn't inquire, because I don't have $500 dollars to spend on a bakery, but I'm assuming the presence of slips means they still have bakeries in stock.
I was at AGPLA and I got the skateboarding set and the winter white outfit, but I didn't see the hoodie or the ball gown- I will have to look again. They also have the coconut fun outfit half price for $14, the coconut fun shirt for girls for $10, and the camping outfit for $19. The LA store has a display bakery too but is out of stock. Additionally, they have Caroline's parlor for the online price of $165 but it was out of stock (I'm sure they will ship for free if purchased in store), and they have Rebecca's sideboard for the online price of $72.
I wonder if this means la patisserie is not selling at all? Or somebody just bought them all, in which case, who on earth (well, I know some people have more than enough money to buy all la patisseries) has an interest in buying so many bakeries. Selling them on ebay would be useless unless a rich person just had buckets of money to spend. Also, it's really fun incorporating french words into English sentences.
Per my PS, the patisserie is selling beyond expectations and they have to fulfill all catalog/online orders before stocking stores again. It is the only thing my girls want for their birthday this week, however our house is not much bigger than the patisserie, so not sure where we'd put it!
Also, at AGPLA yesterday afternoon, the frosty fair isle outfit was half off for $15, the coconut fun outfit was half off for $14, the coconut fun tee for girls was $10, the camping outfit was $19, the black and white tights set was $3, Rebecca's sideboard was the online price of $72, and Caroline's parlor was the online price of $165 but it was out of stock (most likely free shipping with an in store purchase). They also had bakeries on display but were out of stock. I did not see the ruby ball gown or the hoodie- I will have to look again. They also had The first Mckenna book for $2.
Okay, I need to get that Ruby Ball Gown somehow TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS????? OH MY GOSH!!!
ReplyDeleteWill the patisserie be sold online only now?
Why would they remove the bakeries from the floor? Does that mean they are not bringing them back?
ReplyDeleteThe DC store had none in stock. They must have removed the bakery temporarily. I don't think they're allowed to sell displays.

ReplyDeleteI was in the Houston store today and asked about the parlour. She said it would be a ~$20 shipping fee whether you ordered in the store or online.

ReplyDeleteWhat is the current purchase with purchase?
ReplyDeleteThere isn't one

Well, they're on backorder on the website until March, so I'm assuming it's selling!
DeleteThey're selling too fast I think-
