1994 Pleasant Company Catalog

Many of you expressed interest in revisiting the older catalogs and seeing the original PC collections. I admit, this is where my heart is! I love the original concepts for the original six historical characters and am actively trying to add more of these items to my collection. Based on my own personal preference I haven't been that interested in the new BeForever releases.

Let's have a look at this Spring 1994 catalog.

I bought this catalog not too long ago with plans to feature one of the original six dolls at a time. I would like to also feature items from my own personal collection to go along with the catalog review. I hope you will enjoy this Pleasant Company series.

  2. Gosh, I can't wait for this series! It looks so great. I happen to have the 1997 Holiday Catalogue, and I am a huge fan of the way they layed out and designed the older catalogues as opposed to the way they do it now. Can't wait to see what you have in store!

  3. The little girls looks like Madison Pettis, but I don't think she was that old in 1994. We used to get those old catalogs starting in 1998 as my daughter had a Bitty Baby and she got clothes for her for all the gift giving holidays. They had some great stuff back then!

  4. Yeah! Alright Rhonda! Oh the memories of old school American Girl aka Pleasant Company. My dolls and I will be watching with bated breath, or something like that.

  5. I actually started getting the American Girl catalogs back in 1988ish (I never got a doll, just the books). I always enjoyed looking at them. I wish I would have saved them. I loved the matching girl sets that were with the historical dolls. Especially Samantha's Christmas dress.

  6. I'm glad I saved some of mine. Some have been cut up to show outfits for sewing similar items to save money. Of course I have also saved them as a reference
