The Plaid Suitcase was introduced to Molly's Collection in 1988 and retired in 2007 . It is associated with the book Changes for Molly. Retail cost was $18.
Green, black and red plaid suitcase has a green vinyl handle and trim on the sides, closes with a silver clasp and has red satin interior lining with a pocket on the inside lid.
I used a small wooden box with hinges. All you need to do is glue plaid fabric or decoupage plaid scrapbook paper onto the exterior. You can opt to use red satin fabric, red felt or red scrapbook paper to cover the interior. Option for green trim: binding tape, duct tape, scrapbook paper, felt or vinyl strips.
I set it in her room next to her nightstand. I have some posters on the walls too.
